About EXE

Extendicare Inc., operating solely in Canada, is the largest private-sector owner and operator of long-term care ("LTC") homes and one of the largest private-sector providers of publicly funded home health care services. Under the Extendicare brand, the company's LTC homes are designed for individuals who cannot be safely cared for at home or in another setting due to factors such as physical limitations and cognitive impairment, and who require professional nursing care on a daily basis and access to 24-hour supervision. The company's home health care services are provided through its wholly owned subsidiary, ParaMed Inc., whose professionals and staff members are skilled in providing complex nursing care, occupational, physical and speech therapy and assistance with daily activities to accommodate clients of all ages living at home.
