About XGB

The investment objective of the Fund is to provide income by replicating, to the extent possible, the performance of the FTSE Canada All Government Bond Index the Index, net of expenses. The Fund Under normal market conditions, the Fund will primarily invest in Canadian fixed income securities. The Index is a market capitalization-weighted index consisting of a broadly diversified range of government bonds which may include any or all of federal, provincial, corporate and municipal bonds. The securities included in the Index consist primarily of semi-annual pay fixed rate bonds issued domestically in Canada and denominated in Canadian dollars, with an investment grade rating as determined by the index provider and a remaining effective term to maturity of at least one year. The Fund uses an indexing strategy to achieve its investment objective.
